DEMOLITION DAYS: 🚧The removal of the old school is well underway! The west hall, kitchen, and elementary wing are already gone. The office and science room will be removed next week. Pink Out Night: Please wear your pink gear! Prairie is not finished with their new field. No parking inside the outer fence. Park in the south parking lot and enter through the large gate at the north end of the field. Fans are allowed inside the gate on the turf, but respect the field! NO food or drink (the dye in Gatorade is really bad). Only water and no glass. No seeds, gum, candy or tobacco. All schools are tobacco-free campuses. No sharp objects and only molded cleats. Food is allowed in the bleachers outside the track. Lawn chairs on the turf is ok as long as there are no sharp edges on the bottom. Please sit or stand on the turf and not the track.
The restrooms are still inside the school.
PIECE by PIECE the old building is coming down. Today was a big demo day and lots of the old, existing structures of the west hallway and classrooms were removed. While we are in the new building, it is only phase 1 that has been completed. Phase 2, second 1/2 of the building, will start going up hopefully before any snow falls!
