CONCESSIONS is back in its home! Another piece of the building is new and complete. Juniors are thankful for the space and facilities. It's been tough serving with limited power and equipment but they managed to serve some great meals. Stop by today for some roast beef sandwiches!

Due to the weather forecast, Peetz School will have a delayed start tomorrow, January 21st with a start time of 10:05 AM. Buses will run their normal routes coordinating with the delayed start. Any further updates necessary will be communicated out as needed. Please stay safe and warm!

TRAVEL BASEBALL TRYOUTS FOR 10U: On January 25 th , from 4PM to 7PM, the 10U Northeast Longhorns travel baseball team will be holding tryouts for the 2025 season. This tryout will be held at the indoor baseball facility (Black Metal Building) to the West of the Sterling High School. All children (boys and girls) from all over Northeast Colorado and SW Nebraska are invited to attend. We currently have boys from Sidney, Sterling, Prairie, and Caliche schools. Children must be 10 years of age or under. This season will involve traveling around the state of Colorado and out of state tournaments. We will begin practicing in March twice a week to include scrimmages against other teams with our tournaments beginning in March. Most practices will be held in Sterling, and we have access to two indoor batting cages. If we had enough interest from kids from local towns we may be able to hold practices in those towns as well if we can find fields. This is competitive baseball and is a big commitment for children and parents, please consider this before trying out. If selected, your family will be invited to an informational team meeting where we will discuss our plans, fundraising and expectations for the season. If interested in trying out, please message us with your information, your child’s date of birth and preferred position. Or for more questions you can all or text Coach Gordon @ 970-396-5649. Please have children bring tennis shoes (no cleats), glove, bat, and batting helmet if you have one. Hope to see a bunch of kids there!
