LEARNING AT HOME: We love being able to share your pictures. If you have any you would like to share, please email them to raffelsonl@peetzschool.org.
Joy has also been able to work on her guitar skills. The Kindergarten Class was given a Learning Menu with activities to choose from. Build a Fort out of blankets was one of the choices under “Time with Family”. Here are siblings showing off their forts: Carter and Sierra, Cache and Andy, Brayton and Aleah

LEARNING AT HOME: "Emmett practiced his numbers and handwriting this morning by being our record keeper while we vaccinated our ewes! He also helps with chicken chores!" Thanks Alisha and Mark for sending in some pictures. Share with raffelsonl@peetzschool.org

YEARBOOKS! Yes...we are moving forward with a yearbook even though it won't include all of our spring activities. Please purchase online. We only have a limited number available. Seniors get your stuff turned in! ~Mrs. Raffelson

STEM CHALLENGE!
Students were tasked with gathering items from home to create a water filtration system. They then did some research and decided how they could change their design. Great job 4th grade!

ART FROM AFAR!
4th Grade students met via video to do some art and talk. Staying connected is important as we all adjust to a new normal. Thank you to all who participated in this fun activity.

WHAT HAVE YOUR KIDS BEEN DOING? Dana D submitted this "This is me with one of my show steers, Matty D. I have enjoyed having the extra time to work with both of my steers." Are your kids working hard on something besides school work? Maybe with animals for FFA or fair? Of another project they have been doing? Don't forget to submit pictures for our yearbook and social media here https://bit.ly/342BvJ4
LUNCHES:
Peetz School will provide lunches every Monday for ALL Peetz School families if interested. Go to our NEWS FEED to sign up! (Listed at the top of the feed) https://www.peetzschool.org/article/218026?org=peetz-school-re-5
SCHOOLOGY: Yup...it has been up and down. I wanted to let you know that they have turned off some features. You won't see your calendar on the side bar of your class - CLICK on open the calendar and you will see your assignments on their due dates. With all of their activity, they are trying to turn off some features that will help the demand for content and speed. ~ Mrs. Raffelson
A message from Ms Kennedy and the Resource room staff:
The Resource Room Staff is available for students through Google Meet Tuesday and Thursday’s from 9:00-11:00 AM. Check emails for details.

SCHOOLOGY DOWN: First day hiccups right? I believe Schoology is getting inundated with a large volume of users this morning. Please check back in later and we will hope it gets resolved. Thanks for trying to do your homework! ~ Mrs. Raffelson
Thank you to everyone for coming out yesterday and braving the elements. I will be in touch individually with those few that couldn’t make it.
Please let your kids know we miss them.
Thank you,
Mr. Seger
KEEP ON BEING CREATIVE! I love to see all of my student sharing some of the art they are doing during this time. Thank's Caroline L for sending me this. It speaks volumes about all that our seniors are missing out on during this time. If anyone else has some to share, please email it to me ~Mrs. Raffelson

We will stay here until 1pm. If you are unable to make it we will get information out for Monday pick up times.
Thank you and be safe.
DRIVE SAFELY!!
The US Post Office has a saying about neither rain, sleet or snow will keep the mail from going through. I believe Peetz School’s might say...
“Neither closures, nor virus, nor distance, nor snow, will keep us from helping your child grow!”
Drive careful and we will see you today!

Information: Student material pickup Saturday 8am-1pm

THANK YOU to the Lyle Schumacher Fund for our new scoreboard! The board was installed on 3/11 - just in time for baseball we thought! Our old scoreboard was damaged in a hail storm last summer and couldn't be repaired. So in the fall - no bobcat with the gym scoreboard hanging from it! Thank you to all who donated and made this possible.
