NOTICE the little things. Tonight the back parking lot looks like there is a huge Friday Night game going on. Nope. It is committed student athletes of all kinds. HS football and volleyball, junior high volleyball, and little kids football (2 teams) and volleyball!! Thank you parents, for your commitment to developing the athletes.
FIRST DAY for 7-12 is over and an AMAZING year has kicked off. Student Council put together a great skit incorporating this years theme of “Accept the Challenge”. President Aaron B. spoke about making yourself a better person and participating in something new this year. BIG THANK YOU!! Mr. Kurz, Sheri Kurz, Owen Kurz and Mrs. Wheelock spent the morning repainting the giant US map on our playground. This started as a Boy Scout project and has continued every year.
YEARBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED! The 2021-22 school yearbooks are here. If you pre-purchased online last year, your copy is reserved. Mrs. Raffelson will pass them out to kids or parents can pick them up at the Back to School BBQ on Aug 23. We do have a limited supply of extras. $25 each. All students in PreK- 12th grade are in our yearbooks. Preorder link for 2022-2023 will be available soon. Reminder that our yearbooks are fall delivery.
BE THE TRUE NORTH for our students was the opening message from Mr. Forster this morning. All staff is in making final preparations for the start of school. 7-13 students start on Thursday, August 18. Elementary starts next week on Wednesday, August 24th. Don’t forget about the Back to School BBQ on Tuesday, August 23. Bring in school supplies and meet and greet all the staff and other students.
JR HIGH and HS ATHLETIC MEETING tonight in the commons at 6:00 for all parents and athletes. All JH and HS athletes and parents must fill out paper work before the first game. We will also have coaches in attendance so that you may ask questions about each sport.
Even if your student does not play football or volleyball this is still a great time to take care of paperwork before the winter and spring seasons.

CANCELLED - The volleyball camp schedule on Monday, July 25th has been cancelled due to lack of interest/commitment.
BUSY- The maintenance crew has been busy cleaning and repairing this summer. The building and grounds are looking great!

Catfish's Kicks for Kids - Shoes for Kids in Need: Jake Curlee, also known as Catfish, loved shoes! He loved collecting, wearing and sharing. This group was formed to help honor and remember Jake and his passion. Jake was an avid golfer and athlete. He would be proud that his passion for shoes is being shared cross the area.
