MATH AND SCIENCE DAY: Huge congrats to Nadine and Preston for acing those tough math and science tests! They managed to snag some awards, even on April Fools' Day. Talk about proving the jokes wrong! BATTLE OF THE BOOKS: Twenty of our 3-8th grade students showed incredible dedication at the Battle of the Books competition in Sterling. They competed fiercely, showcasing their hard work and reading skills against 155 other students from Northeast Colorado. Battle of the Books is a competition where students read books from a pre-determined list and come together to demonstrate their knowledge of the books they have read. SAFE SITTERS CLASSES OPEN: Prepare for summer with safe sitter and safe at home classes. Grades 4-6 for safe at home. Grades 6-10 for safe sitting ( the all day class). And a class for grandparents or aunts and uncles or older adults who want to learn CPR. Sign up by May 1st to ensure there are enough supplies.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are being held this Friday, March 28th from 1:00-6:30. K-5 parents have scheduled times with teachers, and 6-12 parents can visit their student's teachers first come, first serve in their classrooms. The Bulldog Benchwarmers will be providing sub sandwiches, chips and cookies for all attending conferences. Please stop by the school cafeteria.
