My name is Alyssah Hahn. I just recently got married to my best friend this summer. I have worked with children birth through kindergarten for over 15 years now. I enjoy bird watching and tending to my garden. And I have 4 wonderful pets that I love with all my heart.

I’m so excited to be part of the bulldog community! I’ve taught Family and Consumer Sciences a total of 10 years between Kansas and Colorado, and it’s truly my passion. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Pittsburg State University and a diploma in Baking and Pastry (yes—I love sweets and sharing them, too!).
I grew up in Olathe, Kansas, and after a wonderful chapter in northeastern Colorado, my family and I settled in Sidney, Nebraska in 2021. I live here with my husband Joe and our almost-three-year-old daughter, Olivia, who keeps life lively and full of giggles.
Outside the classroom, you’ll find me baking up something cozy, tending to my garden, or squeezing in a chapter of a good book (usually during nap time, if it happens!). I believe in making learning hands-on, meaningful, and fun—and I can’t wait to get to know your amazing kids and help them discover skills they’ll carry with them for life.

Small Gym & Weight Room *Grand Reopening*... July 25- 7 AM-4:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday CLOSED, July 28-August 1- 7 AM-6 PM. Enter on the south side of the school, farthest door to the west (new parking lot). We are excited to open this section of the building up to our community! You'll be able to scope out the entry way, weight room and small gym. Please respect the construction process and do not proceed beyond the barrier leading into the main building. BUDGET: The Peetz School District budget is now available for public review. You can access the budget documents by scheduling an appointment with the administration during regular summer business hours. The budget will be on the June 18th meeting for adoption.
INSPIRE STUDENTS! We're seeking professionals to inspire our Peetz School students during our virtual career fair from October 28-31. STATE CHAMPION! Suvaun C. Is the 1A girls triple jump state champion! She placed second in the long jump yesterday. Congratulations Suvaun. Janda O. also secured a podium appearance with her 9th place finish in the 3200m. Way to show that amazing Bulldog Grit!
TRACK STARS! Let's give a roaring send-off to our Peetz School Track and Field team headed to STATE! Suvaun C. will compete in the triple jump and long jump, and Janda O. will be running the 3200m. Join us as we line the streets east of the high school entrance on Main Street to cheer on the Track Stars as they depart for the state competition.
