Hello Bulldog Families! My name is Soni Schilz, and I’m excited to return to the Peetz community—this time as your 1st grade teacher! Some of you may know me from my time teaching 3rd grade here at Peetz, and I’m truly honored to be welcomed back as part of this educational team developing exceptional learners.

This year marks my 18th year in education and my 5th year teaching 1st grade. I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. I believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them grow into confident, independent learners through curiosity, creativity, and kindness.

I’m married and have three sons, all of whom are proud graduates of Peetz! Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature—soaking up sunshine, walking our two dogs or relaxing with family at our home at Lake McConaughy.

I am so looking forward to getting to know our amazing students and families and to making this an incredible year together. Go Bulldogs!

Hello Bulldog Family!

My name is Kelly Meier, and I am beyond excited to be joining the Peetz School team as one of your preschool teachers! Although I now live in Sidney, Peetz has always been home—I was born into this community, raised here, and proudly graduated a Bulldog. You could say I have green and gold glitter running through my veins!

Helping build the foundation for our youngest learners is an honor, and I can’t wait to watch them grow into future Bulldogs full of pride, curiosity, and confidence.

I’m married and a proud mom of four amazing kids. When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time in the garden, getting creative with arts and crafts, and cheering on everything Peetz!

Here’s to a fantastic year full of learning, laughter, and Bulldog spirit! 💚💛

My name is Emma Wood. This will be my 7th year in education, but first year in preschool. I just got married in June, I love to craft, and enjoy exercising. I look forward to meeting all of the new families and building relationships with them. I am excited to be a Peetz Bulldog and have an amazing school year.
