Hello Bulldog Fans! Our High School Basketball Team will play @ Sierra Grande Friday at 4 p.m. It will be the Regional Contest against Sierra Grande and if the Bulldogs win they will play Saturday at 1 p.m. against the winner of the Cheyenne Wells v.s Centennial game. They will be clearing the gym after our game to prepare for the following game.

DISTRICT 1A CHAMPIONS! Peetz Boys last held the district championship 25 years ago!! The 1998 team was the last time the trophy came to Peetz. Great playing boys!
PEETZ MOVES ON! Peetz boys won vs Briggsdale and will move on in the district tournament. They will play at NJC at 3:30 on Saturday 2/26 vs the winner of the Prairie/Fleming game. Plan on coming out and cheering on our boys! We need our fans to be loud and proud in the stands!!
CHEYENNE COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER 25th ANNUAL YOUTH CLASSIC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT will be held in Peetz on 2/25 and 2/26 starting at 9:00am. Saturday - 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams will play in the Carlile Gym. Sunday is just 5th grade boys and girls. Peetz Junior class will be hosting the concession stand with delicious breakfast burritos being served at 9:00am. The games will be live streamed on NFHS under Peetz High School . District Basketball today at NJC. The boys will play Longmont Christian at 11:30 am. Bus leaves at 9:30 am.
LATE START: Due to moderate drifting snow and frigid temperatures, Peetz School will have a one hour delayed start tomorrow, February 23rd. Please do your best to arrive by 9 AM. Plan on buses being one hour behind normal pickup times. Any modifications to bus routes will be communicated out in a separate message if changes are made. Thank you and stay safe and warm.
EARLY RELEASE: Due to the weather forecast and deteriorating road conditions, Peetz School will have an early release today, February 22nd @ 2:30 PM to stay ahead of the next snow squall.

Ever thought about teaching as a career? If you have, plan on attending this virtual event - Northeast Colorado BOCES is excited to partner with The Partnership for Rural Educator Preparation (T-PREP) and TEACH Colorado as well as share information about our Alternative Teacher Licensure Program to host our virtual event, Find Your Pathway, on March 8, 2023, at 5:00 pm and March 22, 2023, at 7:00 pm. This event will give an opportunity for participants to learn about different pathways, programs, and funding sources available to aspiring educators. 2023/2024 Peetz Youth Cheer Registration
Any child in grades 3-8 who is interested in joining the Peetz Youth Cheer Team will need to complete the registration form below no later than Monday , March 13, 2023.
The Peetz Youth Cheer Team will cheer and perform routines at Homecoming and select high school football and basketball games throughout the 2023/2024 school year. New participants will join the current team for Friday practice after school from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm beginning March 17, 2023. We will continue weekly until the end of the school year. The summer practice schedule is TBD. We are also looking at attending a camp this summer. Parents are responsible for the purchase of the uniform (estimated cost is $30-$100 depending on what the team chooses for next year. Do NOT let the expense of the uniform stop you from registering. We can always look at fundraising, sponsorships, or selecting cheaper uniforms if needed ).
