📸 Did you know?
Once school starts, a lot of what you see from Peetz School is created by our students!
Our Social Media staff includes 27 students in grades 9–12, led by Mrs. Raffelson. Only four are returning staff members, so most of this year’s team is learning the ropes for the first time.
They help manage the school’s social media pages and website, take photos at activities and games, write posts, edit photos, create graphics, update hallway slideshows, and add student and staff spotlights to the website.
🎥 We also have a 12-member Multimedia team, with just two returning students this year. They are responsible for creating content for the Daktronics video board in the gym, including walk-up videos and other game-day content, and they help produce our Student Media Day photos.
You’ll see both teams working behind the scenes, on the sidelines, and around the school throughout the year.
They’re learning as they go, trying new things, and building real-world photography, journalism, design, video, and media production skills while helping tell the story of Peetz School.
So when you see one of our students with a camera, phone, computer, or notebook in hand, give them a little grace and encouragement. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes!
💚💛 We’re excited to see what these student media teams create this year!

HELP US NAME OUR NEW ROBOT! 🤖🎨
We have a brand-new Turf Tank robot that paints our football fields, and we need your help picking the perfect name! We interviewed Coach Rinaldo to learn more about how this awesome robot works: What is it? It is a Turf Tank autonomous field painter. What can it paint? It paints precise numbers, lettering, and custom logos (like our bulldog or paw print!). Can you choose the font? Yes! There are several font selections and custom logo options available. Does it use spray cans? No, it holds two and a half gallons of bulk paint! How does it navigate? It uses GPS and satellite tracking to follow precise digital coordinates across the field.
