Mrs. Foos:

Mrs. Foos is the new 3rd-grade teacher. She is in her third year teaching full-time.  Prior to that, She was a substitute teacher. She graduated with my bachelor's degree in education studies from Ashford University, with a minor in literature.  Her husband, three children, and she moved to the area in February of 2019, after selling their first home just a few miles north of Sterling. With their growing children and all of their animals, they needed more space, so they bought a home near Peetz. Before switching schools,  her children attended the Sterling Elementary Schools, and she was a 7th grade English and Language Arts teacher at Sterling Middle School.  She is so excited to be here, call this place their home, and get to know their new Peetz family!

Mrs. Fehringer:

Mrs. Fehringer is one of our paras here this school year. She worked one on one with a student back in 2003 here at Peetz. She did this for 4 ½ years until her daughter was born. She is from Grand Junction, Colorado, and she has been in the area since 1995.

Ms. Carissa Weber:

Carissa Weber grew up in Windsor, Colorado, and has had a joy for agriculture for most of her life. In high school, she was heavily involved in the Windsor FFA Chapter and was an FFA officer for all of the years she was eligible. She decided, after high school, that she wanted to become an Ag teacher! So, she started that journey at Northeastern Junior College then eventually transferred to Colorado State University to finish her Bachelors in Agricultural Education with a minor in history! Last year, she taught at the Eaton Ag Department to help her become a successful Agricultural Educator. In December, she graduated with her degrees and has spent her time subbing at local school districts, waiting for the perfect teaching role to come around. It finally has! She is so thankful to the Peetz community for welcoming me as she stepped into the role of interim Ag Teacher. She hopes to help make a wonderful impact on all of the students in the Peetz School!
