Caiden Gloor shaking the president of Boys State because his town got a award.

Caiden Gloor, Boys State. He first heard about it when Mike Goranson came and talked to the Junior Boys at the end of the last school year. He said that the things that interested him about attending it were that it looks good on resumes, sounded fun, and teaches you about the government. Boys State was held at NJC during the last week of June for upcoming senior boys. While at the boys' state, they were divided into teams representing 6 cities and 2 counties. They learned how to run elections and properly solve problems throughout the city. When they weren't busy running their cities, they would all hang out together and just have fun. He highly recommends it for upcoming Senior boys because it teaches you important responsibilities, you get to meet great people, and it's fun to try new things, even if you're not sure you'll like them.
