This year, game day is a little different at Peetz High School due to the remodeling of our gyms. I want to detail the changes you need to be aware of when coming to Peetz, so game day can still be as exciting and safe as possible.
Main Street will be blocked off, and all traffic will need to come down Louisa Street. This is the main entrance side of the school now. Ticket takers for football and volleyball games will be on Louisa Street to collect game entrance fees.
The Main Entrance for athletic events in the gym will be the southwest door of the building. This is the door near the staff parking lot and opens to the auxiliary gym. See “Gym Entry” on the map below.
Visiting team buses, please park on the north side of the staff parking lot next to the “Gym Entry” door. Please leave space for spectators to enter through that door. Where it says “Visitor Team Bus” on the map.
The “commons” or concession stand and bathroom area is open for use! However, there is NO access to it from the west door or the main commons doors.
We only have access to the upper locker rooms at this time. During volleyball and football season, the visiting girls will take the upper girls' locker room, while the visiting boys will take the upper boys’ locker room. This is subject to change depending on the number of teams playing that night, for example, adding junior high.
Parking is also limited due to construction zone fencing taking up half of the parking lot west of the gym. Additional parking can be found south and west of the football field, as well as down Main Street. See “spectator parking” on the map.
