HOCO 2024 will sneak up on us just a few short days after the start of school next year. September 4th is the first day of school (due to construction) and the week of Sept 16-21 is homecoming. Dress up days and the theme are announced early to allow for classes to plan.
THEME: Around the World
Floats will be scored on craftsmanship and inclusion of a landmark, sport, food, and animal from their country. Classes chose the following countries:
Seniors - 2025 - United Kingdom
Juniors - 2026 - China
Sophomores - 2027- France
Freshmen - 2028 - Italy
8 - 2029 - Mexico
7 - 2030 - Brazil
6 - 2031 - Egypt
Dress Up Days
Monday 9/16: A Day on a Plane/PJ day - dress like you are going on a trip
Tuesday 9/17: Tropical vs Artic - Hawaiian Shirts or all the ski gear you can find
Wednesday 9/18: Movie Character or Sports figure from your classes country
Thursday 9/19: Spirit Day (Elementary students do not have school on Friday)
Friday 9/20: Go Native! Embrace traditional attire representative of your classes chosen country.
Thursday 9/19 will be the Pep rally held at the school with games being played on Friday 9/20. The parade will be on Saturday 9/21 at 10:00.
Draft Schedule for Peetz Sake Days will be finalized closer to September.
